The Key to a Nightly Routine

I can’t tell you how often I hear, “it’s so hard to remember to take off my makeup of wash my face every night.” I also can’t tell you how many times I’ve said those words myself.

After becoming an esthetician, I realized I needed to take a look at why it was difficult to take care of my face before bed and what would make it simpler. It wasn’t until a couple of months ago that I had a revelation: I don’t have a quick routine I can do in bed! Half the time I would think to wash my face I would already be halfway comfortable in bed, not wanting to get back out again. With this in mind, I set out to find a few different facial cleaning wipes to try, to see which ones were most natural and best for my skin.

I can proudly say that I cleanse and moisturizer my face nightly. I’m still on a journey toward finding my favorite facial cleansing wipes though, so, starting now, I’ll bring you along on that journey.

Last night I tried Burt’s Bees exfoliating facial cleansing towelettes (you’ll see a separate review in the coming weeks). I used Eminence Organics Facial Recovery Oil, Tamanu oil, and coconut oil to massage and moisturize. This morning I woke up with a happy face that still felt smooth and moisturized.

Though I’ve not found my favorite wipes for myself (there are a TON out there), I have found a short-list of cleansing wipes that I would recommend to my clients.
